Faith in Every Note

Rise Above It All

My 2026 debut solo album, Rise Above It All, brings that journey into focus. Across fourteen tracks, it explores faith, endurance, repentance, freedom, and victory through Christ. The sound carries the driving guitars, strong melodies, and raw vocal energy that have always been part of my musical identity. The lyrics give that energy a purpose: to encourage perseverance, invite reflection, and point toward the One who carries us through what we cannot overcome alone.
My hope is that you’ll hear something in these songs that meets you where you are. Maybe it’s encouragement during a difficult season. Maybe it’s a reminder to return to God. Maybe it’s the beginning of a conversation about faith you’ve never had before.

The Next Chapter: ETHOS11

That purpose continues through ETHOS11, the Christian hard rock band I now lead. Our foundation is expressed in three words: Faith. Purpose. Victory.

The name draws from ethos, the Greek word associated with character. For us, it raises a question that reaches beyond music: how do we live out what we believe? Following Christ means allowing our faith to shape our choices, our relationships, and who we are when nobody’s watching.

ETHOS11 carries that conviction into a new chapter of music and live performance, bringing together the power of a full band and a shared commitment to making music with a message.

UNSHAKEN: A Declaration for 2027

In early 2027, we’re releasing our four-song EP, UNSHAKEN. Its title captures the heart of what ETHOS11 stands for: holding firmly to Christ, standing by what we believe, and persevering when life tests our faith.

Being unshaken doesn’t mean we never struggle or feel the weight of uncertainty. It means our foundation remains in Christ through those moments. We can face hardship, acknowledge our weakness, and keep moving forward because our hope rests in Him.

With driving rhythms, powerful vocals, and anthemic choruses, UNSHAKEN brings that conviction to life. It’s an invitation to stand with us—to hold your ground in faith, live with purpose, and trust God through the struggle.

You’re Welcome Here

Whether you’ve followed my music for years or just discovered it, I’m glad you’re here. Whether your faith feels strong, you’re working through questions, or you’re simply drawn to the music, there’s room for you in this community.

Explore the songs, hear the stories behind them, and join us as this journey unfolds. My prayer is that the music gives you something meaningful to carry into your own life—and draws you closer to Christ.

The stage is still part of my story. Today, I step onto it with gratitude, conviction, and a clear purpose: to honor God with the voice He gave me.

Not nostalgia. A calling fulfilled.

A Voice with History. A Life with Purpose.

I’m Jorge Canan, a rock vocalist whose journey has brought me from the stages of RAZE and Toy Cannon to a renewed calling: creating music that points people toward Jesus Christ.

My foundation was built in live venues, sharing stages with bands like Poison, Skid Row, Zebra, and Extreme. Those years shaped my voice—gritty, powerful, and rooted in the energy of hard rock. They also taught me something that still matters today: music connects when there’s something honest behind it. Today, I have a deeper reason to sing.

The Journey Back

After stepping away from music for many years, God redirected my path. Returning became an opportunity to bring my experience, my voice, and my story into His service. The ambition that once drove me gave way to a greater sense of responsibility: to use what He had given me with purpose.

That calling shapes the music I make and the message I share. I want these songs to speak to real life—to the struggles we carry, the choices we face, and our need for forgiveness, hope, and a new beginning. At the center of it all is my faith in Jesus Christ and the freedom found in Him.
